
We receive many calls each week about health funds and their rebates. Unfortunately on almost all occasions we cannot help.
Our patients deal with many different funds. Each fund may have rules which differ over time, between funds, and depending upon the level of cover you choose. It is your responsibility to direct questions and seek information from your health fund.
What we can do for you:
Before treatment is started we give you a written quote, health fund item numbers and our usual breakdown of fees. This breakdown is offered to make treatment more affordable, and is not directly linked to the number of appointments we have seen the patient for.
Prior to treatment starting we will assist you, where possible, to tailor your fee payment schedule to the restrictions imposed by your fund.
Please note that we will not extend payment plans many months or years beyond the expected length of active Orthodontic treatment.
What we cannot do for you:
- Change accounts once you have submitted them to your health fund.
- Change item numbers to suit your health fund.
- Contact or deal with your fund on your behalf.
